GMAT (now GMAT Focus Edition) is the gold standard for top MBA admissions — Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, MIT Sloan, Booth, Kellogg, Insead, LBS, ISB. The Focus Edition (mandatory since February 2024) is shorter (2 hr 15 min) and tests only Quant, Verbal, and Data Insights — no AWA. Our 10-week intensive targets Focus 645+ (the rough equivalent of the old GMAT 700+).

GMAT Focus Edition structure

  • Quantitative Reasoning — 21 questions, 45 min. Problem-solving only (Data Sufficiency moved to Data Insights).
  • Verbal Reasoning — 23 questions, 45 min. Reading Comp + Critical Reasoning. (Sentence Correction removed.)
  • Data Insights — 20 questions, 45 min. Combines old Integrated Reasoning + Data Sufficiency.

Total: 2 hr 15 min, score 205–805 (in 10-point increments).

Why our GMAT coaching works

Adaptive practice from day 1

The GMAT is computer-adaptive — your next question depends on whether you got the previous one right. We mirror this in our daily practice using Official Guide adaptive sets.

Data Insights-specific drilling

Most prep books are still catching up to the Focus Edition. Our internal DI question bank is built specifically for the new format.

Critical Reasoning — Bloomberg approach

CR is where most non-native English speakers lose points. We teach a structured 3-step approach (premise → conclusion → assumption gap).

Mock tests from official + Manhattan + Veritas

Mocks calibrated to current Focus difficulty, with detailed score reports identifying weak areas after each.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's a good GMAT score for top MBA programs?
Old GMAT to Focus equivalence: 700 ≈ 645; 720 ≈ 685; 740 ≈ 705. Tier 1 (Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, MIT): aim for Focus 685+. Tier 2 (Booth, Kellogg, Columbia, Tuck): 645–685. Tier 3 (Ross, Stern, McCombs, etc.): 615–645. Indian School of Business (ISB): 685+ for confident admit.
Should I take GMAT or GRE for MBA?
Both are accepted at most top MBA programs. GMAT: traditional MBA test, slightly preferred for finance/consulting recruiting. GRE: easier for most STEM-background applicants; cheaper. Our recommendation: take GMAT if you're certain about MBA-only. Take GRE if keeping Master's options open alongside MBA.
How long should I prep for GMAT?
8–12 weeks for working professionals. 10 weeks is ideal. Less than 8 weeks rarely produces 645+ unless you start from a strong base. More than 16 weeks tends to produce diminishing returns and burnout.
Can I take GMAT multiple times?
Yes — every 16 days, up to 5 times per 12-month period, 8 times lifetime. Score Select Plus lets you cancel scores you don't want shown. Most successful candidates take it 2–3 times.
How much does GMAT cost?
Test fee in India: approximately USD 275 (₹23,000+ depending on conversion). Our coaching: ₹40,000–60,000 (10-week intensive). You take the test at Pearson VUE centres in Gurgaon, Delhi, Noida, Mumbai, etc.
