🇩🇪 Study in Germany
Study in Germany from India 2026
Study in Germany from India with Intellect Globe — free / low-tuition public universities, 18-month job seeker visa post-study, blocked account guidance and visa support.
Germany is the highest ROI study-abroad destination on the planet for Indian students who plan well. Most German public universities charge zero or very nominal tuition (€150–€350/semester) for international students — meaning a full Master's can cost as little as ₹15 lakhs all-in including living. Add a 18-month post-study job seeker visa, Europe's strongest economy, and a points-based PR pathway, and Germany becomes hard to beat for engineering, automotive, and STEM fields.

Why study in Germany?
Free / very low tuition at public universities
TU Munich, RWTH Aachen, TU Berlin, Heidelberg, Karlsruhe (KIT), LMU Munich — all charge €0–€350 per semester for international students. Only Baden-Württemberg state currently charges international students €1,500/semester.
Europe's largest economy and tech hub
Germany is home to BMW, Mercedes, Volkswagen, Siemens, SAP, Bosch, Bayer, Allianz, Deutsche Bank — many actively recruit from German universities for engineering, IT, and business roles.
18-month Job Seeker visa post-study
After graduating, you get 18 months to find a job in Germany — one of the longest post-study work periods in Europe. With a job offer, you transition to the EU Blue Card or German employment visa.
Path to PR after just 21 months of work
EU Blue Card holders qualify for German PR after 21 months (with B1 German language) or 33 months (with A1 German). After 5 years of legal residence, you can apply for German citizenship.
English-taught programs are widely available
300+ Master's programs are taught entirely in English, especially in engineering, business, computer science, and natural sciences. German language is a bonus, not a requirement, for most graduate programs.
