Most students assume they don't qualify for scholarships. Most students are wrong. Beyond the famous ones (Chevening, Fulbright, DAAD), there are hundreds of less-known scholarships, university merit awards, and government grants that go unclaimed every year because applicants don't know they exist or don't apply. Our scholarship desk has helped 180+ students cut tuition by an average of ₹3–8 lakhs each since 2024.

Our scholarship process

  1. Eligibility audit — at the counselling stage, we run your profile against our database of 200+ scholarships to identify which you qualify for.
  2. Prioritisation — we don't apply for everything. We prioritise 5–8 high-probability scholarships based on your profile (academics, work experience, leadership, demographics).
  3. Application drafting — most scholarships need essays ("why this scholarship", "leadership experience", "future goals"). We draft these in our voice and your input.
  4. Reference & document support — we coordinate references, transcripts, and supporting documentation.
  5. Submission and tracking — we file each application and track results so deadlines aren't missed.

Important: Scholarship guidance is included in our standard service — no extra fees. The only paid scholarship work we do is for one-off, non-Intellect-Globe students who want help with a single scholarship application.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I qualify for a fully-funded scholarship?
Maybe. Fully-funded scholarships (Chevening, Fulbright, DAAD, etc.) are highly competitive — typical acceptance rates are 2–5%. They favour applicants with strong academics (top 10% of class), demonstrated leadership, and clear career-impact narratives. We do an honest eligibility check at the counselling stage.
How much can I realistically save with scholarships?
Across our 180+ scholarship-winning students since 2024, the average tuition reduction is ₹3–8 lakhs per year. Top performers (Inlaks, Tata, university full scholarships) save ₹15–40 lakhs total. Bottom 25% don't win anything despite applying — that's the reality of competitive awards.
Can I apply to scholarships after I've already been admitted?
Yes for some, no for others. Many entrance scholarships at universities are awarded automatically based on application materials (no separate application). External scholarships (Chevening, Fulbright, DAAD) require dedicated applications with their own deadlines, often 6–9 months before the academic year starts.
Do you charge separately for scholarship help?
No — for students using Intellect Globe for full study-abroad services, scholarship guidance is included free. We only charge separately for one-off scholarship application help (e.g., students from outside India who only want help with a single Chevening application).
Are scholarships taxable in India?
Generally no — scholarships are tax-exempt under Section 10(16) of the Indian Income Tax Act when received for educational purposes. However, some structured awards and stipends may have specific tax treatment. We'll flag this when relevant; a CA's advice is recommended for high-value awards.
